Why we created this
Our students have a difficult time learning social skills that would seem obvious to others. Having and understanding social skills can really be an integral factor in an individual's success.

Spin: The Action/Feeling Game
Therapy Instructions
The Purpose: Using common feelings and every day actions individuals on the Autism Spectrum (and others) will learn to identify feelings in themselves and others and to how to express them.
Therapy Instructions: This app can be used with just an individual or in a group at various levels. Basically spin and act out the action as if you felt the emotion. The therapist can role play this for a group and individual and then have them practice or each person could take turns spinning and acting. As skill levels increase it could be used in a "charade" type game where someone spins and then the group has to guess the feeling and action.
Chatter: The Conversations Starters Game
Therapy Instructions
The purpose: To prompt appropriate conversations by providing questions you can use to begin a conversation.
Therapy Instructions: This game can be used individually with a therapist, in a group with a therapist or in more informal settings such as free time or lunch with a group of peers. To use: Touch "GO" to get a conversation starter, ask the question, listen to the answer. As skills increase students can be encouraged to think of follow-up questions.
